Happy Friday Friends!
Looking to next week, the school will be celebrating the upcoming Winter Break with its Holiday Spirit Week! It should be an amazing week spent celebrating (and embracing) all things Holiday at Friends. The week’s line-up is below.
Monday (12/13) – Flannel Monday!
Tuesday (12/14) – Holiday Headwear: Wear your favorite hats, antlers, or hair accessories!
Wednesday (12/15) – Holiday Colors: Wear whatever colors represent the holidays to you and your family.
Thursday (12/16) – “Ugly” Holiday Sweaters!
Friday (12/17) – Pajamas in celebration of Polar Express day!
Next Friday, December 17 is a noon dismissal day with no After Care. As a reminder, on this day the school will be hosting the Holiday Bazaar from 5:00 to 7:00 pm (see attached flyer).
Also, each year Friends School works with Spirit Rising to support local children during the Holiday season by adopting children in need of Christmas gifts. Parents interested in participating in the Spirit Rising gift-giving initiative can click this link, https://www.
It was wonderful seeing and speaking to a handful of Friends parents this morning at Three Ships Coffee on Jack Rabbit Road for our new Parent Meet-up sessions. Each week Friends is beginning to feel more like its pre-pandemic self. This morning, the conversations and coffee were excellent. There was a sense of normalcy to the event that harkened back to life before Covid. I think I can safely speak for everyone at Friends School, I hope 2022 brings more coffee talks and fewer Covid conversations.
Have a wonderful weekend, Friends!
